Security
What this trial website does, its limits and how to report a concern.
A development website, with a limited role
JanusLabs is a personally run software project in development. This trial website provides public information and fictional demonstrations. Public customer accounts, sign-in, file uploads, subscriptions, payments and client onboarding are unavailable.
This page describes the public website. It does not certify a future application, a live customer service or the security of information kept by another provider.
What the demonstration does
The example report contains original fictional sample content. Its six sections can be explored, but the controls do not start scans, purchase services or create accounts. The mock-audit field opens that same report without submitting the URL you enter.
There is no reason to enter credentials, customer information or confidential business material into a demonstration. The separate JanusLabs Pilot observation is an evidence example with its own stated limits, rather than a customer security assessment.
Connection and hosting
The public website at januslabs.co.uk uses HTTPS to protect information in transit between your browser and the website. Hosting is provided through Vercel. HTTPS does not establish that a device, mailbox, provider or future application is free from security risks.
The current website code does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. The privacy notice explains technical request information and email enquiries.
Security statements we can support
No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. This website does not claim ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification, an independent penetration-test result, guaranteed uptime or guaranteed isolation between future customer accounts.
Application-specific matters such as account protection, access controls, backups, deletion, provider agreements and incident handling need verification against the actual service before customer access is introduced. A preview of an interface is not evidence that those safeguards are operational.
Reporting a security concern
Email hello@januslabs.co.uk with “Security report” in the subject. Include the affected page, a short description and the minimum steps needed to understand the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, access tokens or personal information belonging to someone else.
Use only information and accounts you are authorised to access. Do not disrupt the website, run load tests, access another person’s information or test third-party systems. If you encounter unexpected access to private information, stop and report what you observed.
This contact route does not authorise intrusive testing or access to someone else’s systems. There is no bug-bounty payment scheme or blanket promise of legal immunity.
If something changes
Material security concerns will be assessed and addressed as appropriate. Any applicable legal duties concerning personal data incidents continue to apply. This page and the privacy notice will be updated when the public website’s features change.
For a privacy complaint or a request about your information, follow the privacy request route.
